Picture example of Coastal forecast
In what weather conditions are the paddlers. Find out by this weather map. Among the services has SMHI foecast for Recreational time including Kustväder reachable by phone 0900-20 20 333 at the charge 9,90 Skr/minute. The forecast is given for desired area with eventual warnings. As mentioned at their homepage the sevice covers a 5-days forecast (updated each day).
SJÖFARTSRÅDET (a section of Sjöfartsverket) runs a service at no charge by phone 0771-53 54 00. This service is same as the above mentioned Kustväder and covers actual day. Also here is the desired area mentioned by a town or area.
Shootings with live ammunition
For information about shootings with live ammunition over water at Ringenäs we will have a link to Word-document as soon as we got the scheme. This will be actual for a period of 1-2 weeks at the time and we hope to be able continue the information as long as our paddlers are in the area. Present warnings covering up to week 26. (Contact webmaster if you need translation of the document.)

Water level
Along the west coast of Sweden one has to look out for tidal water ± 35 cm apart from the strength of the wind and direction. Information of the cycles of tide. Choose "Viker" as geographic area - closest to Svinesund and desired date.
Note that the cycles are moved forth about +49 minutes per 24-hours or +25 minutes per cycle. If the first flood appears at 0804 the next 24-hores first flood can be expected at about 0853 or the second flood at about 2030 resp. 2118.
