On Wednesday 9 October there was a jury meeting for Lina Hallebratt at Peter Sjödin's home in Västerås. The jury this time consisted of Thorvald Nielsen, Ben Strengell and chairman Peter.
Lina talked about her third paddling around Sweden. The plan was to do the paddling in 60 days and have a number of rest days in case of bad weather. The problem was that it was always good paddling weather - only one day completely blown. Therefore, there were no more than 45 days of paddling. Towards the end of the paddling, the daily distances became longer and longer and at most 118 km. There was no doubt that the jury could approve the paddling.
After the briefing, Lina was offered a sandwich with a drink in the usual order, followed by coffee and a good cake with both a kayak and an inscription.
