Then it was time for the last jury meeting of the year for Mattias Söderberg. The jury this time consisted of Jim Danielsson, Thorvald Nielsen, Sven Berggren, Lilja Nikulásdóttir and Peter Sjödin.
Mattias reported the route on his computer. He paddled the entire distance in an excellent 46 days without a rest day. The jury was able to unanimously approve Mattia's paddling, which becomes conquest no. 199 and his second conquest.
After the briefing, Jim offered in the usual order a sandwich with a drink and then coffee and a fancy cake with an inscription.
This was not just the last jury meeting of the year, but Jim's last as chairman. We thanked him for his inspiring and important mission.
